Covid-19…Changes to Come

Greetings from Taqueria el Vecino-

The Covid-19 virus has us all a bit uneasy and confused about what we are supposed to do and why we are doing it. We are all taking precautions to avoid contracting the virus. Wearing masks, washing hands, sanitizing and keeping a safe physical distance from others are all we can do at this point. We take the body temperature off every employee every day they come to work. Please exercise all of the precautions yourselves to keep us all safe.

You all have been spectacular in your support of your neighborhood businesses. We cannot thank you enough!! We will begin rewarding Corona Card holders on June 1! Make sure to bring it with you!

We are working on an opening strategy with mid- June as a target. With the state and nationwide openings happening quickly we want to stall for a few more weeks to see how the rapid openings play out. Safety for everyone is still the most important item.

In order to abide by the current, and sure to change soon, regulations we will implement some guidelines of our own. Our current thinking, is to open half of the dining room for dine in and convert the current outdoor seating from takeout dining to full service dining. The curbside pick up model will remain in place until such a time that it is deemed safe and appropriate for us to open up at full capacity. It is important for us all to feel comfortable in order to enjoy ourselves!

Brunch will begin again once we start seating inside!!

Taqueria el Vecino has been open for the duration of this and we plan on being around for a while, thanks to you!
